secrypt supports the Berliner Stadtreinigung (BSR) in the provision of secure electronic invoices

Berlin, 29.06.2017. Berliner Stadtreinigung (BSR) is the largest municipal waste disposal company in Germany. In order to make the internal invoicing process more ecologically and economically efficient, the company decided in 2006 together with Vattenfall and GASAG to create as many invoices as possible electronically and send them to customers.

For this purpose, secrypt partner CapeVision GmbH first developed the central consolidation platform SmartPath, which allows invoice senders to submit their invoices in the favored format and to transmit them to the recipient of the invoice in his preferred format. The invoice documents and their corresponding data streams are provided with an electronic signature by the digiSeal server in order to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the invoice contents according to the value added tax law.

Since last year, BSR has added another component to its electronic offering, which is particularly suitable for smaller administrations and owners and represents a quick and simple solution for exchanging invoices. For this purpose, the already implemented process with SmartPath and digiSeal Server was extended by the generation of ZUGFeRD PDF invoices using the digiSeal pdf library.
